Stacking broad bands around a sharp corner, this Freezketch Signature Sketch gives Atlanta Central Library an assertive presence. The layered upper body projects above a recessed base, while scattered openings interrupt its enclosed planes. Loose, searching marks soften the geometry without diminishing its force.

Designed by Marcel Breuer with Hamilton Smith and dedicated in 1980, the Atlanta library is presented here through an expressive black-and-white architectural line drawing.
